The Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) will hold its series of Tarmac Days showing off some of the unique aircraft held in its headquarters at the Illawarra Regional Airport, in Albion Park.

Tarmac days will be held outside the HARS hangars and will involve the static display of various aircraft, as well as guided tours of aircraft on display. Members of the public will be able to board and sit in some of the aircraft including the cockpits of aircraft like the F-111C fighter bomber and the Neptune submarine hunter.

Tarmac days are held on the second Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every month. This August, the event will be on from Friday 9th - Sunday 11th, 9:30am - 3:30pm every day.
