Submitting articles for Coal Coast Magazine and/or Coal Coast Magazine website
We accept and welcome contributions from writers, photographers, artists and illustrators. We are always open to publishing the work of new talents. If you are interested in contributing, please send an email to the addresses below with some examples of your work and/or a link to your website or blog. We do not accept articles or parts of articles that have been published elsewhere.
For writers: email Kate at editor@coalcoastmagazine.com
For photographer/illustrators/artists: email Micaela at studio@coalcoastmagazine.com
PLEASE NOTE: Ensure the subject line of your email states, "Coal Coast Magazine Submission."

Before you submit, please be aware that we are an independent magazine, so budgets are limited. By submitting a written piece to Coal Coast Magazine, you give permission to Coal Coast Magazine to publish and distribute submitted content to its audience via its print, website and social media platforms.

Unfortunately, due to the volume of emails we receive, it isn’t possible for us to reply to everyone or provide feedback for all submissions we receive. However, we do thank you for thinking of us and contacting us!

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot take responsibility for any unsolicited emails or ideas, as many people often contact us with similar ideas and pitches (or it may be something we have already thought of ourselves). Also please keep in mind our lead times of two months before an issue is due.
